Free Food Friday - 2

Wild garlic pesto ... we can't get enough of the stuff.

New books ... naughty but very, very nice.

oh man! I have all 3 of those books and love them all! My fave recipes from Nourishing Taditions are the raw cheese cake, the herb bread (very cake like), pancakes (we have these several times a week) and the date and walnut cookies, oh and the almond cookies! Prolly more.....oh, stock! I make stock so much now.

Do you have Weston Price's book too? The photos are so cool.... really amazing to see.

The one thing about Fallons recpes is there is just so much fat. I know. It's one of her issues and we try to source raw, unpasturised etc, but I think traditional people would have been sooooo much more active in their daily lives than we are and so could justify those amounts, kwim? Interested to see what you think of it..

The best bit is that section atr the front, I mean I could never look at food in quite the same way again...
